Set in modern times but dating back hundreds of years, The Legacy Breed are women, like regular women in most every way – they hope, they dream, but they also live forever and stop the aging process, when they have their heir and spare daughters – the younger to inherit the Legacy and the older to die by her 13th birthday. Then the cycle must repeat, or else the Legacy Mom will start aging and die.
There are no husbands and fathers – too complicated and unnecessary. But some of the sons are hunting the Legacy Moms.
At the same time, some of the surviving daughters don’t want the Legacy. These Anti-Legacy Daughters don’t continue the cycle, choosing not to have children, to age and die like regular mortals. But some in the Anti-Legacy don’t just want to stop their cycle. They want to avenge their dead sisters.
Our story follows two Legacy families, both born from Maria Teresa Abuloy but generations apart. Set in NYC, these families are just like people you know…except for the killing part.
