We budgeted 12 hours to get an ambitious number of scenes done, including indoor and outdoor scenes, a pesky video conference, and a rogue shot on the sidewalk.
We finished just in time, though we might have wrapped early, were it not for a series of helicopters and the loudest duck in New York City crashing our final scene. Was AFLAC shooting an Apocalypse Now remake on the Upper West Side that same day?
Regardless, everyone was on their A-game:
Ivory Aquino and Katie Ceniza-Levine were up first:
When they wrapped, I was able to sneak in this Filipina girl power shot:
Sky Smith and Lilli Hokama took to the roof just as the temperature was dropping. What you won’t see in these still shots are Sky putting on and off his jacket in-between takes:
Starring alongside our actors were some yummy Filipino treats:
Of course, the crew was never far away. I don’t have a shot of Actor Bruce but he was mostly Director Bruce that day:
DP Steven Gladstone went from napping….
…to risking it all on the roof:
Assistant Director Jane West kept us in check and always with a smile:
Sound Director Henry French kept us audible:
And that’s a wrap!
